The Faculty of Letters of ULIM congratulated the graduates of promotion XXI and awarded them the Licentiate and Master Higher Education diplomas
On Friday, June 29th, 2018, the educators and the graduates of the Faculty of Letters, ULIM reunited in Aula Maginifica ULIM at the festivity of awarding the Licentiate and Master higher education diplomas. There were present at the event professors, representatives of ULIM administration, students and parents.
The ceremony was opened with a minute of silence in the memory of the rector, founder of ULIM, the late academician Andrei Galben.
The event continued with the speech of the associate professor, Dr. Carolina Dodu-Savca, the dean of the Faculty of Letters of ULIM, who congratulated the graduates and wished them to continue to strengthen their training by choosing one of the faculties at Master or Doctorate higher education.
Subsequently, university professor, Dr. hab., Elena Prus, vice-rector for Scientific Research and Doctoral Studies encouraged the graduates to progress in the chosen field of activity, to achieve a high level of knowledge and to apply to Master and Doctorate higher education.
University professor, Dr. hab. Ion Manoli, head of “Petru Rosca” Roman Philology Department and associate professor, Dr. Inga Stoianova, head of German Philology Department wished to the young people a bright future with favorable opportunities in career.
The students thanked the professors and expressed their gratitude in English, French, German, Spanish, Korean and Chinese languages.
According to ULIM tradition, the diplomas were awarded, the 110 graduates – 97 of cycle I Licentiate higher education and 13 of cycle II Master higher education have taken the oath.
The most worthy students of Faculty of Letters were appreciated with Diplomas of Merits and Excellence for academic success and excellent results.
